A good history should include important data points, and that's a problem! We (Eastside Village) haven't done a great job of keeping records. We've got lots of storage room on Workspace, our Google-provided computer storage, but I'm guessing a series of people have decided to "reorganize" the files, and "Clean up" the space. The result is that pieces of our history have gone missing. For the early years of 2016 and 2017, there are only minutes for a single governing council meeting per year. A file called "Eastside Village at a Glance" is prepared for every governing council meeting, but they are missing before 2023.
There are a couple possibilities - those files might never have been created; they might never have been moved to Workspace; or they may have disappeared in a reorganization. I'd like to think those old files exist on someone's laptop, and that if it's your laptop, you'll email me copies at [email protected]! Maybe to write a history, it takes a village!
