Do You Know Someone Who Should Work for Eastside Village?

Our most excellent Administrative Coordinator Kathi is retiring and our Village Council is in the process of finding someone to take that role.  We are first reaching out to our Eastside Village community - members, volunteers and friends - in our search for suitable candidates.  Here’s the position description.  Please pass it on to anyone you know who fits the criteria and you believe would be interested in the rewarding work.

Please feel free to share this link on any neighborhood social media pages you follow.

About Us

Welcome to Eastside Village! We’re more than 220 neighbors in East Portland over the age of 55 who are helping each other stay active, independent, and connected. While most of us are seniors, membership is open to all residents who are at least 18 years old.

We’re part of the national Villages movement that’s reshaping aging in the U.S. It began with Beacon Hill Village in Boston in 2002 and now includes more than 350 Villages, all linked by the Village-to-Village Network. Each one is a grassroots, volunteer-driven community built on friendship and mutual support.

We celebrate the diversity of our community. --- Everyone is welcome at Eastside Village. We strive to create a space where all feel they belong, regardless of race, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, income, or ability. We work actively to remove barriers so everyone can thrive.
